
Jenny Ng, co-founder of Contrast Trio (violin-saxophone-piano trio) has established herself as a collaborative artist since 2005, and is often highly praised by both her colleagues and audience for her extraordinary musicality and sensitive playing. She is frequently demanded as a professional accompanist and chamber musician. Her recent engagements include collaborations with Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Pan Asia Symphony Orchestra, Hong Kong New Music Ensemble, Hong Kong Bach Choir and Macau Youth Symphonic Band. She has been interviewed by the South China Morning Post, UK Chinese Times and RTHK 4 with live performances.
Jenny is currently an ABRSM examiner in Hong Kong. She holds double Master Degrees in Piano Accompaniment (Master in Music, and Master in Music Performance – Guildhall Artist) from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with a scholarship awarded by the Guildhall Trust. She was a staff pianist as a specialist of vocal repertoire at the Guildhall School, where she worked with world-class singers Sarah Walker and Laura Sati, and in masterclasses with leading accompanists including Malcolm Martineau, Martin Katz, and Graham Johnson. She studied under the tutelage of Caroline Palmer, Pamela Liliard, Michael Ward and Maria Krivenski.
