Kilian Chan

Co-Founder

Kilian Chan started Aura Music with Stephen Lam in 2019 to explore and reposition the role of music in education, provide context and knowledge around music, as well as create content to enhance multidisciplinary learning. He hopes to connect young Asian musicians to promote quality concerts around.

Recently he has been invited by Young Friends of the Hong Kong Arts Festival, to be the narrator for their Young Friends Music Special Programme “From Literature To Music“ and was the moderator for “Young Composer Showcase”. Between 2012 and 2018, Kilian was the Director of Finance and Development of the Hong Kong Festival Orchestra. ​He is also the founder of an art-tech initiative Ponte+ exploring new possibilities in audience engagement and interaction. He is also an amateur cellist.

Kilian studied Business Administration at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and hold a master’s degree in Statistics from the University of Hong Kong. He is a private wealth manager of an international financial institution by profession.
